When God is Silent

I have been thinking a lot about this God being silent topic lately.
I picked up a book by Cecil Murphey recently called When God Turned Off the Lights. It does shed some light on some of the reasons why God seems to be so quiet and far away and seems not to answer our urgent questions.
I was ruminating with a friend at Barnes & Noble about the basic reasons why I personally think sometimes the heavens are like brass and God somehow can’t be reached. Hope these help when you are going through your own wilderness moments. Read the rest of this entry »
