Since today is Labor Day, I thought it would be appropriate to find some Scriptures that talk about our labors.
Make Sure Your Labors Are Worth It
“Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain” (Psalm 127: 1a).
Take Time to Relax
“Six days you shall labor, but on the seventh day you shall rest; even during the plowing season and harvest you must rest” (Exodus 34: 21).
Serving the Lord Brings Profit
“Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in his ways. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours” (Psalm 128:1-2).
Note: All verses are NIV.
How do you know when God is really speaking to you?
What does God sound like?
If you go to some churches, you might expect God to yell dramatically. At other churches, you would expect God to use all kinds of flowery words and sound like He is talking straight out of the King James Bible.
